CREATING AND ASSEMBLING THE PIECES & PARTS
Stamp the wreath on the Thick Basic White cardstock with Mango Melody or Pumpkin Pie ink. Use the Layering Circle dies to die-cut the wreath.
Use the Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the branches on the wreath, the sentiment, and the spider. Then add Clear Embossing Powder to the spider and heat set.
Die-cut 2 bows. Layer them with Glue Dots. Add a little extra black/white baker’s twine if you have it available.
Add Dimensionals to the back of the stamped circle and the spider. Trim the sentiment, layer on Rich Razzleberry cardstock, and re-trim.
Emboss the card front layer using the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. (Sandwich = Plate 1, embossing folder with cardstock, Specialty Plate 4)
Wrap Silver Thread around the embossed card front. Any pattern works. I put a couple of notches in the top of my card front to keep the thread from slipping. I also used transparent tape on the back to secure the thread.
Assemble the rest of the card with all the pieces we just created. Add some ‘white’ Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins. Use a mini Dimensional on the right side of the sentiment and a little liquid glue on the left to keep it attached to the wreath.
Add a simple message to the card insert. A few spiders will add a little creepiness. Put a spider or 3 on the envelope too. And now you have another Boo!-tiful card to send to someone for Halloween.
See you tomorrow for 2 super fun cards to make with small kids. HINT: Use the Tulip Builder Punch.
