Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! Boo! Today we are sharing scary and sweet projects perfect for Halloween. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Today is a simple card using the Cottage Wreath bundle and the Alphabest stamp set. It is all about the arachnid.
I had fun with this one. The spider in the center of the wreath wiggles back and forth.

CREATING AND ASSEMBLING THE PIECES & PARTS
Stamp and die-cut 2 wreaths on the Thick Basic White cardstock with Mango Melody or Pumpkin Pie ink. Use the Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the spider. Then add Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
Add spiders to the card front as shown and draw a ‘web’ line using a fine-tip journalling marker.
Stamp the letters with Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Free-hand trim little wonky letter blocks. Add Black Dimensionals behind the letters
To assemble the wreath, add Dimensionals in between the layers. Sandwich silver thread between 2 spiders. Wrap the free end of the silver thread around one of the Dimensionals and secure it to the face of the Dimensional. Your spider should jiggle and swing a little bit.
Add a simple message to the card insert. A few spiders will add a little creepiness. Put a spider or 3 on the envelope too. And now you have a Boo!-tiful card to send to someone for Halloween.
Did you notice some of the extra pieces that were not used in this project? Do you want to see what I created with them? Check back tomorrow for another wreath and spider card. And on Friday, I have a fun card for kids to make.

This would be my worst nightmare having those spiders in my door wreath…lol. Perfect spooky card for Halloween! And I hate to admit that the wiggle spider is cute as can be.
I had a black snake wreath for a couple of years and none of my friends would come to my front door. It was kind of funny. One time I had someone knock (my doorbell rarely works) and a snake fell out of the wreath. It was rubber but the scream was real.
Will case for sure! :).
😁
Love this! So cute! How did you make the spider jiggle? I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the ladybug jiggle but haven’t had too much luck. Great job!
Thanks, Sue. I wrapped the silver thread around one of the large Dimensionals between the wreath layers. Then sandwiched thread between 2 spiders. It will swing a bit.
Super cute Ann! Love those spiders and the alphabest bundle! Great card!
Thanks, Renae. Nothing said creepy like a spider. 🤣
Oh, Ann! I love the wreath, I love the spiders and I love the techniques you shared for building the layered wreath…but…I really, really love the way you cropped the letters on the sentiment. Such fun! So glad you hopped with us today!
Thank you very much, Brian. I crop letters like that all the time in scrapbooking. Figured, why not on cards?
Beautifully simple and fun!
😀👻
This is definitely unique and so cute. It is the clean look that I have such a hard time achieving. You nailed it!
The wreath is so pretty in Mango Melody & the spiders are perfect for a Halloween card!
Thanks
Thank you 👻
