I know I said I was going to put the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set away. But I could not help myself. I decided to play with geometric shapes and have some fun with line drawing around the gnome. Here is what I came up with.

Did you know that doodling is good for the brain? Here are seven benefits of doodling.

- Basic Black cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- Thick Whisper White cardstock:
- 5-1/4″ x 4″ for card panel
- 5″ x 3-3/4″ for message panel
CREATE
- Stamp the gnome in the center of the card panel using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
- Grab a black journal pen, ruler, circle dies, or a template and begin connecting lines around the stamped gnome image. TIP: Use the Essentials Paper-Piercing templates from 2011 or 2012 if you still have them for the spacing on the dots. Otherwise. Just use the ruler or eye-ball it. Remember, it is all good!
- Repeat some of the geometric shape doodles on the inside message panel and the envelope.
- Layer and admire.
This is so much fun. No 2 will be alike. Try this with other images.

Superb layout and design, but most of all, concise and helpful information. Great job, site admin. Take a look at my website FQ5 for some cool facts about Adsense.
Brilliant! and so fun
Thank you so much. I crack myself up with some of these gnome antics.
Love the design- the Gnomes are on my list, and I have been trying to think of ways to use them not Christmas related. I have Halloween and fall on my mind. My daughter’s birthday is at the end of October and when she was in college I started sending her cards once a week in October, fast forward 5 years and somehow I send one everyday in October. She prefers them to be Halloween themed but I do all kinds of things. Your design maybe one I case. Thanks for sharing your talents.
That is great! You just gave me an awesome gnome idea. and please … CASE away.
What a fun idea. My daughter’s BD is in October too. I’ll think I’ll send her a card a week.
Wendy- that makes me happy
I want to figure out how to zentangle a gnome. Just you wait!
Me too Brian! Line drawing awaits! 🙂
Doodle away and keep breathing. No Stress for those lungs!!!

Thank you for your immense kindness and for keeping me on track.
Never get enough Gnome stamping and your line drawing is perfect, must try. Love ever card you have done so far with those elusive Gnomes.
Gnome Power!
Bwahahaha.
I’m still lol.
Thanks for the morning giggle
You are welcome for the giggle with your coffee!
Adorable concept. Very clever, Tim Holtz-like design.
