Over the years I have saved and taken screen shots of beautiful cards. I am taking some time this week to share my version of these cards with you. Today is a green & white Christmas card that was inspired by Lou Swit. Here is Lou’s beautiful card.

And here is my version. I broke down the elements of Lou’s card and ended up using
- Take Out Treats stamp set and Takeout dies
- Spruced Up stamp set and dies
- Merry Tags dies with 2″ circle punch
- Corregated 3D embossing folder
- Christmas Messages stamp set (sentiment)
- Tag Buffet stamp set (inside sentiment)

COLOR COMBINATION
PIECES & PARTS
First, I die-cut the round ornament with the Merry Tag die and put it on top of a 2″ Garden Green cardstock circle.
I stamped the following
- large tree with Wild Wasabi (my ink pad is almost dry and I don’t have a refill, sadly, this may be the last time I can use it. 😒)
- small tree with Pear Pizzazz
- star and the center of the ornament with Garden Green
Tying a bow with 2 metallic ribbons is humbling but I managed to tie a bow using both the Simply Elegant gold Trim and the Gold 1/8″ ribbon.
Emboss strip of (2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) Thick Basic White with the Corrugated 3D embossing folder. Don’t have this embossing folder? Use the score blade on your trimmer.
ASSEMBLING
Layer all the pieces using Dimensionals and Glue Dots.
Stamp the sentiment and add Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish.
Do not forget to stamp a sentiment on the card insert (from the Tag Buffet stamp set) and add some color with retired Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the envelope flap.

More Christmas cards in the next post. Locate your Hometown Greetings dies and some pine bough dies ….

Any of the tree stamps: Perfectly Plaid (with punch), Trees for Sale, Festival of Trees (punch), etc. Try a large snowflake stamp with circle punch. If you want to order a new product, I would suggest Decorative Trees Bundle #164085. This bundle has trees and a star with dies.

Since I want to make this card but I don’t have the items except for the corrugated embossing folder what is your suggestion that I can use instead of the stamps and dies that you used or can I order them
