I absolutely love the Hometown Greetings stamp & die set and could not wait to use it again on this Christmas card. I was scrolling through my saved card ideas and came across this beauty by Patty Metz.

And here is my version

This simply elegant card was fun to create.
COLOR COMBINATION
I die-cut the star from Champagne Glimmer Paper for a little sparkle.
STARRY SKY CREATION
Time to flick some ink. I used my Water Painter dipped in White Craft Ink to flick ink onto a full sheet of Night of Navy cardstock. TIP: Let it dry overnight for the best results.
Flicking can be a messy process. I like to put the paper into a cardboard box and tap the Water Painter on the index finger of my opposite hand. Aim for both small and large drops of ink for the greatest impact.
Alternative to using White Craft Ink.

MORE CARDS

You have lots of buildings when you die-cut the Hometown Greeting die images. And the Night of Navy flicked ‘sky’ is already done. So why not make several Hometown Greeting Christmas cards to send to friends and family?
So what do you think? Did I do Patty Metz’ card justice with our Stampin’ Up! products?

You are so very welcome. It tickles me that you love it!!!
Hi Mary Jane, You can use a scatter dot or star-patterned stamp. Stamp Night of Navy cardstock with Versamark and heat emboss with White embossing Powder. I would do a whole 8-1/2×11 sheet and then punch out the circles.
Ann on your Hometown Card above if i don,t speckle it what else can I do. I am not to sure how to do the speckling I Know you and Dianne showed me but I am not so sure
