Welcome to InKing Royalty’s June Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate the 4th of July – the projects are inspirational, patriotic, and filled with reds, whites, and blues. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the end of this post.
I am enthralled with the Boho Indigo Product Medley. The kit colors are Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. I chose to pair the Designer Series Paper from the Boho Indigo Product Medley with Real Red and Whisper White to keep with the red, white, and blue 4th of July theme.
There are some holidays that I like to decorate for simply. Memorial Day and the 4th of July are 2 of those holidays. I use my blue and white vases and add red flowers. But this Designer Series Paper was already blue so I decided to white emboss on Real Red cardstock. I designed this card with simplicity in mind. Here is the card.

Measurements:
- Whisper White Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- Real Red Cardstock: 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″ plus scraps for vase and sprig
- Boho Indigo DSP: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
- Vellum: 3-1/4″ square for stitched circle
Pieces and Parts:
- Die-cut stitched vellum circle.
- Stamp vase on Real Red with White Craft Ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
- Die Cut vase and Real Red Sprig,
Assembly:
- Cut Mini Black Dimensional in half and add to back of sprig.
- Add Mini Black Dimensionals behind vase.
- Attach vase/sprig to vellum circle.
- Add layer to Boho Indigo DSP card panel and trim vellum.
- Layer onto the Real Red card panel.
- Center onto card base.
Extras:
- Use Boho Indigo DSP to cover envelop flap
- Stamp inside panel with image and sentiment.
You can be sure that there will be lots more projects using the Boho Indigo Product Medley.

Love your card. It has a little Asian flair.
Thank you, Joni. What’s not to love about those gorgeous ginger jars? Heat embossing really makes a statement.
What an impact the white embossing has on the red cardstock. Great choice and great card!
Thank you, Sue.
The pop of red really adds a lot to this card. Nice showcase of the project kit.
Thanks, Shawn.
Way to think out-of-the-box, Anne! I love the elegant look of this card!
Thanks, Robin.
Beautiful! Love your layout.
Thanks, Sheryl.
I love the white embossing on Real Red for your vase – it makes it look like a real vase!!! Great job with this beautiful card!
Thanks, Joanne!
This is so elegant and soothing, but celebratory at the same time. Great job, Ann!
Subtle Celebration! Thanks, Candy.
Sista, this card is amazing! I love the outside the box Forth. Of July card! That red vase is to adorable!!!
Thanks, Sista! Sometimes I have to remember that simple is fun and good. I think I might make an entire suite of these cards with the different vases for a hostess gift.
I didn’t even think to pull out the Boho Indigo Product Medley – I love that you did. This card is gorgeous and has all the special “Ann” touches. So glad you hopped with us today! ♥
Always glad to hop with my InKing Royal Tribe!
I love this Boho card. A few things – the vase looks authentic and mentally takes me to a museum. You have convinced me that I need the sprig punch and that I must purchase it today. The red pops from the vase. Although the vase and the sprigs are the stars of the show, the vellum is the stage that allows them to shine. Beautiful card.
Linda, the sprig in this card is all in the Boho Indigo Medley. It’s a fabulous kit of goodies.
So cute. I’m hoping to crack open my Boho medley yet this week.
Yeah!
Love that you chose the Boho Indigo medley for the basis of this card. Great design, too. And the vellum is the perfect foil for the red. Yummy!! Another CASE coming up! ❤️
You make me happy. CASE away. ?❣
