I can’t say enough about the wonderful Paper Pumpkin kits. My kits stack up sometimes before I can make the time to create. But that does not make them any less valuable to me. Here are my Paper Pumpkin August 2024 Alternative Cards.

I pulled some of my stash to help me create these cards
- Translucent Floral stamp set
- Artistically Inked stamp set
- Round We Go Stamp set
- Gold Fancy Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper
- Night of Navy twine
- Simply Elegant Trim
TREASURE IN THE PIECES & PARTS
I don’t usually follow the kit directions and make the intended cards or projects. The real treasure for me is the pieces and parts. They come in manageable quantities. 🤣
The kits come with a stamp set, ink spot, glue dots, Dimensionals, embellishments (ribbon, adhesive-backed sequins, etc.), card bases, envelopes, and more. They are perfect for supplementing your favorite products from the catalogs and Online Exclusives.
Over time, you will have a nice collection of 1″ ink spots (great for portable projects) and stamp sets.
CREATE ALTERNATIVE PROJECTS
By altering the elements of the kits, you can create cards that are uniquely you. Where do you begin?
- Use card layout sketches to get your creative juices flowing.
- Join a Facebook Group dedicated to Paper Pumpkin Fans
- Don’t limit yourself to cards, try scrapbooking with Paper Pumpkin
- Combine Paper Pumpkin with coordinating products in the current catalogs, Online Exclusives, and your stash

CREATE & SHARE,

Glorious alternatives! I’ve gotten into the habit of checking daily on the SU website for the availability of refill kits before they are snapped up. Sometimes I don’t love a kit right off, but then when I see all the suggested alternatives, I get excited to create.
Thanks for the inspiration. Glad I bought TWO refills of this kit! 😉
Anne, I love these birthday cards. I, too, love the Paper Pumpkin kits. Enjoy your day!
