Paper Pumpkin - February 2020 Alternative Cards

Hi, all my home-bound self-quarantined friends! Boy was I glad to be told to stay home and work on my paper crafting. That is what we were advised to do, right? Well, we hear what we hear. (giggle) I marched down to my Studio and looked around for some inspiration. Spotting a stack of Paper Pumpkin kits, I grabbed February 2020 kit and got to work. Here are my Paper Pumpkin – February 2020 Alternative Cards. First, the stamp set, isn’t she a beauty? This kit is entitled “Lovely Day”.

And what is inside the box (swoon) is the stuff dreams are made of. That may be a little dramatic but you get the idea. Lots of cool punch outs and extras for future projects.

Combined with Animal Outing Bundle and Perennial Essence Vellum

Used Sahara Sand ink to stamp background

Combined with Pressed Petals DSP, Very Versailles stamp set, black Journaling Marker and white gel pen.

Combined with Very Versailles stamp, foil foliage (Rose Gold Foil from Everything is Rosy Product Medley), metallic thread.stripped from metallic baker’s twine, and white gel pen.

Some tips:

I used coordinating ink and sponge wedge to distress the edges of the floral punch outs.
Used lots of Dimensionals.
White Craft ink and a dry Aqua Painter was used to flick white spots.
Adhere sequins with a glue dot.

These were quick and easy to put together. Remember all those reminders to keep a little dish of extra foliage and sentiments on your workspace? They really help with adding finishing touches quickly. And what do you think about the black outline on the flower? I think it really pops.
