A Little Sparkle

I have been cleaning and organizing my crafty studio for weeks. In the process, I’ve come across some much loved but unused sparkly sequin assortments. And since I am not one to waste a good opportunity to make something, I got to work making a card with a little sparkle. And what fun I had. It is hard not to giggle when you create a little sparkle project.

Here is my card

MEASUREMENTS (Supplies and Links are at the end)

Calypso Coral Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Thick Whisper White Cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Shimmery White Cardstock: scrap for sentiment
Adhesive Sheet: 2-1/2″ x 5″ (AVAILABLE IN 2020-2021 Annual Catalog)

PIECES AND PARTS (use any die-cutting and embossing machine – WATCH FOR EXCLUSIVE STAMPIN’ CUT & EMBOSS MACHINES TO BE AVAILABLE IN FALL 2020 )

Emboss Thick Whisper White Cardstock with Subtles 3D embossing folder.
Lay the adhesive strip cut from the adhesive sheet diagonally across embossed Whisper White card front. TIP: Use Silicone Craft Mat under the card front.
Lay card front with adhesive in a shallow tray and dump (or sprinkle) the mixed sequins onto adhesive. Press the sequins into the adhesive until you have it covered.TIP:I used paper between my fingers and the sequins to prevent sequins from sticking to the oils in my hand.
Stamp sentiment and die-cut using the Stitched Shapes dies.
Adhere the sentiment to the card front. TIP: Use liquid glue under sentiment laying over the sequins and a Dimensional on the other side.

ASSEMBLY

Layer as shown or until it pleases you.
Grab an envelope and add some decorative stamping or cut some coordinating DSP for the envelope flap.
Don’t forget to make an inside panel for your message. Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock panel.
