CREATING THE PANSY BLOSSOMS
Use a Blending Brush or Dauber to add color to scraps of Thick Basic White cardstock. Add Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive then die-cut the blossom stems from the inked cardstock. Lightly add Magenta Madness then die-cut the blossom bud.
Die-cut the blossom base from Thich Basic White cardstock.
Assemble as shown.
SENTIMENT
Stamp the sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock with White craft ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. TIP: Wipe cardstock with an embossing buddy. The oils from your hands will attract the embossing powder. It is best to handle the cardstock by the edges when you can.
The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set is similar to the one from A Little Lace (retired). I have a pile of sentiments that I use frequently stamped and embossed ready to add to projects. It is a real time-saver.
ASSEMBLY
Layer the card as shown. Add some customizing to the envelope and you are ready to mail this bright card to a friend. Be the reason someone smiles today – Send this Simple Pansy Blossom card!
