I am having so much fun with the Pansy dies and using up some of my retired cardstock and Designer Series papers. Today I have a quick card for you, a simple pansy blossom card.

Here is the card.

    • Pear Pizzazz ink pad
    • Magenta Madness ink pad
    • White Craft ink pad
    • White embossing powder
    • 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots – Magenta Madness (retired)

Use a Blending Brush or Dauber to add color to scraps of Thick Basic White cardstock. Add Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive then die-cut the blossom stems from the inked cardstock. Lightly add Magenta Madness then die-cut the blossom bud.

Die-cut the blossom base from Thich Basic White cardstock.

Assemble as shown.

pansy blossom layered under sentiment strip

Stamp the sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock with White craft ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. TIP: Wipe cardstock with an embossing buddy. The oils from your hands will attract the embossing powder. It is best to handle the cardstock by the edges when you can.

The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set is similar to the one from A Little Lace (retired). I have a pile of sentiments that I use frequently stamped and embossed ready to add to projects. It is a real time-saver.

Layer the card as shown. Add some customizing to the envelope and you are ready to mail this bright card to a friend. Be the reason someone smiles today – Send this Simple Pansy Blossom card!
