I was looking through some magazines and catalogs recently and focused on several one image framed prints. A thought struck me. A single stamped note card is simple and sophisticated. The images that seemed to be most prevalent in the catalogs were botanical in nature. Hmm…Stampin’ Up! has some great leaf, fern and coral images. So let’s get started.

Stampin’ Up! has a 20 Note card and Envelope Packet so It really doesn’t get any easier. Using the Daisy Lane or Tropical Chic stamp sets I created this little series. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. Here are the note cards that I created.

I cut a panel from Whisper White cardstock at 3″ x 4 1/2″. Then did my stamping on the panel and then adhered it to the note card.

I also tried my hand at writing a sentiment using my best Palmer Method cursive.

So as you can see you can be as simple or elaborate as you please. The result will always be the same. The recipient will be overjoyed with your creation and WOWed by your creativity.

HINT: Use the Bone Folder to crease the folds on any project for crisp clean lines. Your cards lay flatter and look more professional.
