The Sweet Strawberry Bundle has taken over the creative airwaves. I have seen so many beautiful projects that I just had to have this bundle. It is available in the Mini Catalog January – June 2021. If you need a catalog just ask me 🙂 The delicate strawberry plant cluster drew me in.

And I could not resist creating this simple Thank You note.

I started with a stenciled background on a 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ Thick While cardstock panel. You guessed it. That is the same size as an Artist Trading Card. I have a little stash of cool backgrounds that are pre-cut to this size.
This is a very simple formula (aka card sketch). I find that with this small panel you get a clean and simple card. Add Dimensionals behind the panel and you go right into ‘designer’ quality.
2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ background panel + focal cluster of 2-3 images + sentiment
Stamp the Good Morning Magnolia image onto the vellum panel using Basic Gray ink. The lines will be blurred by the Stampin’ Blends and the alcohol to create a faux watercolor effect.
Color the image starting with the lightest color. Use Dark Daffodil Delight for the center. Dip a fine-tip paintbrush into the rubbing alcohol and gently move the color. I added Champagne Shimmer Paint to my rubbing alcohol.
Next, color non-adjacent petals with Dark Flirty Flamingo. Gently blur the stamped line. Let dry and repeat on other petals. Do the same for the leaves. TIP: Blow into a straw to gently direct the ink flow in the desired direction.
Add a second layer of color after the image is dry. Repeat the process of alcohol painting and gently blowing the ink.
OPTIONAL: Pick up some clean rubbing alcohol with the paintbrush and flick it over the image. This will create small droplets that will lighten some areas by moving the color outward.
Adhere the vellum panel to the Basic White cardstock panel using Stampin’ Seal or a light amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add to Basic Black card base.
Stamp the sentiment in White Craft ink and heat emboss with with embossing powder. Trim to you liking. Add to card panel with small black Dimensionals.
Customize the message insert and the envelope with some flicks of color from the brush end of the Stampin’ Blends.
Stenciled Background
For a stenciled background, use a Basic Pattern Decorative Mask, blending brushes, and selected ink pad. Hold the stencil securely and add ink with the blending brush or sponge. I used a retired mask for this card.
Break for commercial …
The March Paper Pumpkin kit will include a BONUS of 4 stencils. I can’t wait to add these to my arsenal of fun stuff. Sign up by March 10th to get your kit.

Strawberry Flower Cluster & Sentiment
Gather Garden Green and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Markers and Light Poppy Parade and Light Granny Apply Green Stampin’ Blends.
Use the brush end of the marker to ink the stamp. Huff on the stamp to ensure it has enough moisture and stamp onto Thick Basic White cardstock. Do this twice. Color the stamped images with the Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the colored image.
Ink the sentiment with Garden Green, stamp, and trim.
Assemble Layers
Layer as shown. Placing a full cluster on the stenciled background then cutting apart the 2nd cluster and adding as desired. I used a Mini Dimensional behind the flower over the intersecting stems. Add Dimensionals behind the stenciled background and place on the card base.
Isn’t that such a fresh card? I have already sent it on its way to thank a fellow demonstrator, Genevieve Ko, for sharing her time and talent with my team and me. That is one of the wonderful things about the Stampin’ Up! community, we share our ideas regardless of which team we are aligned with. I would love for you to become part of my team. NEWS
The Sweet Strawberry Bundle is currently unorderable because of the high demand and a backorder situation with the Strawberry punch. It should be back in stock in April. And you may be pleased to know that it will be included in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog that will be out in June.
But don’t let that stop you, the stamp set is available right now.
