Is there anything more fun than back-to-school shopping? Absolutely! Shopping for the right shoes, notebooks, pencils, crayons, first-day back outfit. It can be a bit overwhelming and expensive. As a kid, I loved the new stuff. As a parent, I wondered why the old stuff wasn’t good enough. LOL! It is all perspective.
I have some good news. There is a Tax-Free Holiday on select products in the Stampin’ Up! catalog in some states. If you live in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia, you are in luck. Click on the .pdf below to discover which products are part of your state’s tax-free holiday. The dates for the tax-free holiday on school supplies vary by state. Here is the .pdf for you.
It is time to save some money if your state allows it. Every penny counts. I know you will want to download the list today and make a shopping list to take advantage of one of the few tax breaks that we can use NOW.
If you live in Massachusetts, the entire Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog is included in the tax-free holiday. But in Illinois, you still have to pay 1.25% (Really?).
And all the Stampin’ Blends are included in the tax-free holiday.
Please note that you must place your order in my Stampin’ Up! SHOP during the tax holiday period (per state) in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
