Once again smooshed ink papers have come to my rescue. I was tasked with making Thanksgiving dinner napkin rings. And here they are

I had so much fun making the Thanksgiving napkin rings from my orange/yellow smooshed ink technique paper. I added copper embossing using a crackle image stamp. TIP: Keep a selection of smooshed ink technique papers available for quick projects. I suggest red/pink, orange/yellow, purple/blue, greens, yellows, and blues. That will give you lots to choose from for quick fun embellishing and keep your inky messes to a minimum. LOL!!

I had some thick twine in my stash and decided to use it as the ‘ring’. I used a 2-1/2″ circle as a base to build my pumpkin. Add Mossy Meadow leaves using the Bough Punch. I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Cajun Craze ink and then punched the pumpkin out with the Apple Builder punch. Don’t forget the stem!
I embossed the sentiment from the stamp set and cut it apart before attaching it to the front of the pumpkin.
I finished the Thanksgiving napkin ring by using a 2-hole punch at the top and threading the thick baker’s twine through the holes. This is easy to wrap around the napkin with silverware for festive table decor.
