I am pulling out all the stops on this one. Have you ever heard the song Yellow Pickup Truck by David Bruce Murray (no relation)? Iisten to some pretty eclectic playlists while in my Crafting Studio. This song came up and —BOOM— I needed to put a yellow pickup truck on a card. Subliminal messaging works, I am proof.

Assembly
I stamped the pickup truck with black on Daffodil Delight cardstock and die cut it out. I colored/shaded the truck with appropriate Blends. Use the light Blend markers and lightly add color around the edges of the truck. It will appear very dark but will dry to a lighter color and give the truck some dimension and ‘age’. Add Stampin’ Dimensional to the back of the truck.
Then cut a piece of Designer Series Paper to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and wrap ribbon around. Adhere ribbon on the back of the DSP with transparent tape. Cut a coordinating cardstock layer (I used Old Olive) at 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″. And adhere the two layers together. Put the truck on the ribbon road!
Stamp the sentiment on Basic Black with Whisper White Craft ink after rubbing the Embossing Buddy over the paper. The Embossing Buddy will smooth over any oils from handling. Then dip in the White Emboss Powder and heat set. No need to ‘wave’ the Heat Tool. Just direct the Heat Tool at the emboss powder and watch for the change in color and the shine to appear. Move the Heat Tool slowly over area to emboss once you see the shine. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals and place on the card wherever it is pleasing to you.
Here is the finished card.
