I just wanted to pop in to show you a couple more daffodil creations. The Daffodil Dreaming bundle is so much fun to assemble. The hardest part is choosing which colors to combine. If you are looking for a STASH BUSTER the Daffodil Bundle is the one you MUST have. Contact me and I will show you how to really maximize the value of this bundle.
CHOOSING A COLOR COMBINATION
Pull out a packet or scraps of your retired Designer Series Paper. Then grab anything in the same colors and the color-coordinated cardstock. Make sure you grab some green that works with your DSP. Let your main DSP be the guide to choosing the coordinating solid colors. That is the super-power of the Stampin’ Up! line – color coordination.
STORYTIME BREAK
GREEK MYTH: Did you know that in Greek Mythology, Narcissus was the man who fell in love with himself? A young gregarious and talkative nymph, Echo, was cursed by the goddess Juno for tricking her. Cursed, Echo could only repeat the last words in another’s sentence. She had no words of her own. Echo saw Narcissus and fell in love but could only echo his words. She thought he understood her love and then he spurned her love. She died of heartbreak. In revenge (because she was the god’s favorite), Nemesis lured Narcissus to the edge of a pool of water where he fell in love with his reflection. He stared at his reflection so long that he starved and died. The narcissus flower bloomed in his absence. Or something like that…
STASH BUSTING TIME
I spent a little time die-cutting and assembling daffodil pieces and parts from various solid cardstock scraps and some coordinating retired DSP while listening to an audiobook. (The London House by Katherine Reay)
I used the retired Painted With Love DSP, Blushing Bride, Terracotta Tile, and Very Vanilla embossed pieces from Boho Indigo kit. I also pulled scraps of DSP that included Blushing Bride or Terracotta Tile. You could even run the solid cardstock pieces through with an embossing folder for even more texture. This is a STASH BUSTER Bundle! Here are my pieces.

The assembly was fun. There is no wrong way to assemble these beauties.

ASSEMBLING DAFFODIL BUNDLES
Grab some stem die-cuts and assemble bundles of two (2) daffodils plus a bud. I am having way too much fun.

SLIM-LINE DAFFODIL CARDS
The rest is history. Here are some of the resulting cards.

The backgrounds on these slim-line cards were made using a 3-1/8″ x 8-1/8″ panel of either Harvest Meadow DSP and Painted with Love DSP. Stamp some script on the background with Very Versailles stamp set and Soft Suede ink. Then run the panel through the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and use a Blending Brush to add a bit of Blushing Bride ink to randomly add color around the edges of the panel. Then mount that panel onto a Very Vanilla 3-3/8″ x 8-3/8″ panel before adding it to the slim-line card base (7″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 3-1/2″ on the 7″ side).
PLAY — PLAY — PLAY – The combinations are limitless.
This is a must-have bundle. I’ve included a shopping list below of the stamp sets used in the creation of these cards.

STASH BUSTING DAFFODIL BUNDLE CHALLENGE
My challenge to you is to let yourself be creative. Make a pile of assembled daffodils, maybe throw in some tulips and design paper floral arrangements for card fronts. You can do this on any size card. Create and share on my Facebook Page – MurrayStamps.
Absolutely love your card with using left over dsp! Just beautiful!
Thank you, Janelle. I am guilty of hoarding DSP. It is fun when I can find something worthy of my stash. LOL
Can’t wait to gather and play. Love your cards and your slimline daffodils! Story time break a favorite as well.
Thanks, Sue. Glad you love the daffodils and story time.
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful cards.
Thank you for your kind comment. Daffodils bring smiles. 🙂
I love your daffodils What a great idea to use DSP and embossing also! You make it look so easy! You said that you could really show us how to maximize the bundle…I am interested!
I am always fascinated by your “story time break” segments… a total learning experience!
Thank you!
Fay, I sent you an email. I don’t know where you are in your paper crafting journey. I can show you how to maximize the bundle by ordering and getting SAB DSP FREE or by JOINING MY TEAM. Let’s talk and we can work on coordinating products you might already own to pair with the Daffodils. I look forward to your email reply.
Absolutely, your cards are glorious.
Thank you so so much. You can hang out with me anytime.
Love the cards! And the ‘story time break’!
Thanks. I love stories…and books…and soon to be best selling authors. 🙂
Beautiful cards!! I’ve had this set for several weeks not and have yet to break it open and play. You have certainly inspired me to do just that!
Toni, I am glad that you are going to open up the bundle. It does no good sitting on the shelf. 🙂 STASH BUSTING IS REAL
