Today is all about texture. I created a classic birthday card with Tasteful Touches stamp set and coordinating dies. Using the classic white, black, and red combination makes this a classic. Add on the wonderful Parisian Flourish embossed background and you have texture extraordinaire.

Create fantastic backgrounds and wonderful focal images with this set.
THE PROCESS
Emboss the Basic White panel with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder. TIP: If you are getting any cracking on the cardstock, try misting the cardstock with the Stampin’ Spritzer before embossing. Damp cardstock stretches better when using 3D embossing folders.
Using the Stamparatus, stamp the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink. Without removing the cardstock or the stamp, clean off the stamp. Then stamp the image again using Versamark. Heat emboss the flower with clear embossing powder. Then fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to the back of the cut flower.
Die-cut a couple of berry foliage clusters using the Christmas Trimmings dies. I grabbed a scrap of green-colored DSP in my scrap pile.
Trim a 1/4″ strip of buffalo checked DSP from the Pattern Party DSP pack. Layer it with the Basic Black strip.
Layer everything as shown and add some Matte Black Dots.
Add the white embossed on Basic Black cardstock sentiment. I used the Happy Birthday from Blossoms in Bloom but I can see this as sympathy or get well card too.
