Color Saturation is the catchphrase in some recent paint trend articles. Since I still had the Beautiful Thistle bundle on my worktable, I put together this card using a color-saturated background. A simple center focal point layout makes this card easy and fast.

CREATIVE PROCESS
Splattering ink is a fun way to add interest to a background. First I embossed the Basic Black panel with the Exposed Brick 3D Emboss Folder and roughed up the edges. And then I flicked some white ink over the embossed panel.
TIP: Use a highly pigmented white ink for the best results. I use this acrylic ink.

While the ink was drying, I stamped the thistle in Night of Navy and colored them with Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. Then I layered them up with Dimensionals and added the thistle bundle to the card panel.
The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I added a few small pearl embellishments and a couple of flat enamel dots.
This card came together very quickly. Try color saturation with any of the deep rich colors. You can add ink with a blending brush to deepen the color.
